The devotees of Shri Surya Narayan Mandir observed Holi with Holika Dahan on Tuesday and with a puja and katha on Wednesday, March 11th. The celebrations really started on Sunday, March 15th. After the puja and katha, the adults faced the youths in a “chowtaal battle”, where the youths were clearly victorious. The celebration was then brought out to the yard where youths and adults alike ran and played phagwah in the yard with the traditional festivities and revelry associated with Holi. This year was no exception, Pandit Ram initiated the colorful on slaught on all devotees then followed by the children. These images best tells the story.
