The Surya Veer Scholarship established by Pt. Vishnu Hardowar of Shri Surya Narayan Mandir (FL) was pleased to award scholarships to 4 deserving individuals. These young men have not only excelled academically but spiritually as well. They’re regular attendees of the Mandir and all play pivotal roles in the youth group.
All four individuals have recently graduated high school and all are enrolled for fall classes in various colleges. The Surya Veer Scholarship presented each of them with a check for $250.00 to be used for academic purposes. Below are the names of the four recipients:
Sachin Mangra, Vijay Maraj, Randy Kushial, and Andy Gopie
SSNM wishes them the best as they continue to strive for academic excellence and we have no doubt they will succeed in their endeavors.
The Surya Veer Scholarship was established in 2013 by Pt. Vishnu Hardowar with the mission to award young Hindu students who have excelled academically. With the support of the members of Shri Surya Narayan Mandir, the foundation will continue to fulfill its intended purpose and mission.
