Shri Surya Narayan Mandir recently hosted a nine session Shrimad Bhagvad Gita Yajna. It commenced on June 14th and came to a conclusion on June 22nd. Each session was sponsored by members of Shri Surya Narayan Mandir. Likewise, devotees were given an oppurtunity to sponsor the verse (and even chapter) of their choice.
The Vyasji, Pt. Ram Hardowar, Spritual Leader of SSNM read all seven hundred and one verses of the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita in Sanskrit. Verses were projected onto a screen so that everyone could follow along with him. He accompanied the reading of each chapter with a detailed and eloquent description in English for all to understand.
